Chiropractic and Osteopathic Medicine

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine which focuses on musculoskeletal system disorders and nervous system disorders, and also the effects of these disorders on nervous system and general health. Chiropractors primarily perform adjustments or manipulations to the spine or other parts of the body which mainly aims at allowing the body to heal itself by its natural ability. It seeks to reduce pain and improve the functionality of patients via exercise and other therapies.

Osteopathy is a system of complementary medicine involving the treatment of medical disorders through the manipulation and massage of the skeleton and musculature. It is especially helpful in relieving pain for facet  joint injuries, osteoarthritis, and sacroiliac joint dysfunction, as these conditions represent joint dysfunction that responds well to mobilization.
